:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Entropy -- The story of the betrayed hero continues : I am really enjoying the story. The mc is back trying to save a town on the edge of destruction while everyone around him continue to suspect he is behind it. He gains several allies including a few wanted criminals. The princess seems a little naive thinking that if she talks to the mc, everything will work out. I really hope that is not the case sense her father would probably still be torturing the mc at this point if he had not escaped. The king is still hard at work making sure that the heroes shine brilliantly. Can't wait for more. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2021 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Fenlamour -- definitely better : The first book had a steady but going pace which screamed unrealistic to me. This had calm moments with hectic section flowing into them nicely. It did not seem forced to me. I will be getting book 3 for sure. Keep it up Mr. Plymel don’t lose heart or conviction and let the words flow at the pace you feel. I would rather wait four months for a well thought out storyline than four weeks for a botched and rushed one. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2021 )

Certainly feels the light novel a genre and Bill's the anti-hero hero Mold quite well. The real hero summoned in the first book is out of again. Collecting Misfits and improving them and saving those who don't know how to save himself. All the while taking the heat as the anti-hero. Plot is a fun one in this series as the false hero makes his way around being the bad guy (but not a bad guy) the enchanting porting was cool to read about so I hope he delves into that more. Not much new in the world building or new gaming systems...just some minor upgrades. The perspective jumping from character to character is also a major peev. - 4.0 out of 5 stars from T.J. Sisemore -- Almost a 5 : It's a good story. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it is way too similar to several Japanese manga and anime. Quite similar in many ways to Rise of a Shield Hero. If the author can continue to distance his story from that one, it will definitely be deserving of a 5. The fact are MC has a team of slave girls is a bit disturbing but much like a certain Hero with a shield he's very fatherly to them.
